Embracing Motherhood: A Realistic View of Parenting Today

I'd love to tell you that I have it all figured out. That I am an expert in parenting and that if you follow in my footsteps, you too can become a supermom. But, that is no where near the truth. I fail daily, I cry more than I let anyone know, and regularly worry that my kids will contract some kind of rare, flesh-eating disease from consuming something they found on the sidewalk. Nonetheless, I am here to tell you, that I don't know any experts. The experts have never experienced my children. We are all just trying to figure it out and praying we make it out unscathed. I just might be further along in my journey than others, and my hope is to share insights on parenting topics, and share resources that have either made my life easier - or - that I pray to God, will. Today, I am simply offering you some words of encouragement; You got this. Let's do it together.
